I have recently joined Universe@home and successfully managed to connect with two Raspberry pi machines that run 24/7 and have spare computing power - one is a RPi Zero W and the other is a RPi 4. However, when I try to link a Windows laptop to the project I get the error: Failed to add project - Please try later. I am getting that error continually for a couple of days now. Any thoughts? Is the project no longer issuing Windows work units? Ian PS - Machine is running Windows 10 Pro 64bit on a 2.53GHz Core i5 CPU with 8GB RAM. |

From memory you need the latest (or next to latest) BOINC version to attach to the project using the manager & select the project, otherwise it's a case of entering the project address manually. I vaguely remember i had to upgrade my BOINC Manager to the current version at the time to be able to select the project and make it stick. Grant Darwin NT |

Grant - thank you very much - the issue was resolved by, as you suggested, updating my BOINC client. I guess that I am used to software that flags up when it is out of date - I have had no such notification. Ian |
